Who you are
- 6-8+ years of digital ad sales experience. Data or Ad Tech experience required
- Multiple years demonstrating success in working with HoldCo agencies
- Demonstrable success in programmatic media sales or data sales
- A consistent track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets
- Self-motivated and capable of working autonomously without daily supervision
- Exception prospecting, objection handling, and negotiating skills
- Commitment to thorough preparation and disciplined organization
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills & presentation skills
- Flexible to work remotely or from our New York office, with a willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients
- Adaptable to change and consistently able to deliver exceptional results with limited guidance
- Good time-management, prioritization, and multitasking skills and abilities
What the job involves
- Dstillery is seeking a dynamic and accomplished Sr. Account Director to join our high-performing HoldCo Sales team
- As a senior contributor within our revenue organization, you will play a pivotal role in deepening strategic relationships with major holding companies and their agency and brand clients
- Your focus will be on unlocking and accelerating revenue growth through innovative, data-driven partnerships
- You will serve as the primary account owner for designated holding companies and their respective agencies, responsible for driving new business and expanding existing relationships by delivering impactful programmatic solutions anchored in Dstillery’s patented multi-modal AI—which fuses behavioral, contextual, and search data signals into a powerful targeting engine

- Take full ownership of the designated Holding Company, ensuring strong relationships and consistent revenue growth
- Perform a high volume of qualified prospecting through email & phone outreach
- Effectively communicate Dstillery’s value proposition to HoldCo agencies and direct marketers
- Identify client needs during discovery phases and recommend tailored solutions from Dstillery’s product suite
- Drive the acquisition of new business and increase revenue from existing accounts
- Manage the entire sales cycle from initial qualification to deal closure
- Keep a precise and updated Salesforce pipeline for accurate weekly forecasting
- Build and maintain robust relationships with key decision-makers at agencies and brands
- Partner with the Agency Development team and VP of Sales to strategize on growth opportunities, client engagement, and sales initiatives
- Promote Dstillery’s programmatic advertising solutions, focusing on revenue growth

Targeting digital advertising campaigns to the right audience has historically required the use of cookies, but the privacy issues associated with them have led to many businesses seeking alternative data sources. Whilst anonymous proprietary data can be leveraged to provide an alternative to cookies, it can be difficult to access and build audiences out of such data without the right AI-driven analysis tools and data infrastructure.
Dstillery provides AI-driven audience building tools for businesses who seek to leverage first-party, geospatial, behavioural, and demographic data as an alternative to cookies to build high-performing programmatic digital advertising campaigns. In addition to AI-driven audience modelling technology, the company also offers pre-built audiences for clients who already understand the audiences they want to reach.
Although the AI tools and datasets required for cookieless ad targeting already exist, navigating them is difficult, and Dstillery has been smart to recognize this.
