Role
Who you are
- The ideal candidate is passionate about AI and cloud technologies, with a deep understanding of the AI application ecosystem, cloud-native architectures, and the competitive landscape
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in product management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role in the cloud services or AI/ML market
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of AI/ML workloads, cloud infrastructure (GPUs), and cloud-native architectures (Kubernetes, microservices)
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead and scale product teams, with strong decision-making, project management, and mentoring skills
- Customer-Centric Approach: Demonstrated experience working closely with customers to identify needs and translate them into product features and solutions
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Education: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. MBA or equivalent experience is a plus
- Visionary Leadership: Ability to think strategically while being able to dive into technical details to guide the product team
- Results-Oriented: Proven track record of driving business growth through innovative product solutions in the AI and cloud space
What the job involves
- As the VP of Product Management - AI Services, you will lead CoreWeave's strategic efforts in shaping and developing cutting-edge AI services that drive innovation and business outcomes for our customers
- You will lead a team of Product Managers and collaborate closely with engineers and designers to create world-class products that empower organizations to deploy, scale, and optimize AI applications efficiently and effectively
- You will leverage market insights and technical expertise to define the product vision, roadmap, and go-to-market strategy, ensuring that CoreWeave builds on its market-segment position as the leading AI Hyperscaler
- Product Vision and Strategy: Help refine the product strategy for AI application cloud services aimed at foundational model training and Inference, along with focus on optimization across the entire CoreWeave product portfolio for Foundation Model Training & Inference
- Roadmap Development: Own the product roadmap, balancing near-term customer needs with long-term vision, to deliver differentiated and scalable AI cloud services
- AI and Cloud Expertise: Stay current on advancements in AI/ML technologies, cloud infrastructures, and software development methodologies to inform product decisions and foster innovation
- Customer Engagement: Collaborate with key customers to understand their AI workloads, pain points, and future requirements to continuously improve our service offerings
- Cross-functional Leadership: Lead a high-performing product management team and collaborate with engineering, sales, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure seamless product development and deployment
- Market Analysis: Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and the competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities and ensure CoreWeave stays ahead of industry trends
- Go-to-Market Strategy: Partner with marketing and sales teams to develop and execute effective go-to-market strategies for AI cloud services, including positioning, messaging, and competitive differentiation

Our take
Many cloud service providers can suffer from slow prediction speeds when they are used for data modeling. CoreWeave solves this problem with its specialized cloud service provider.
CoreWeave reduces prediction times and makes service requests faster and more efficient. This, in turn, cuts cloud costs considerably. This has proven to be a strong draw for many companies, with CoreWeave signing a lucrative partnership with GPU heavyweight NVIDIA as well as partnering with BitOoda, which has allowed it to expand its operations to the financial market.
However, in 2023 it closed three very significant rounds of funding (Series B and debt and secondary extensions), which is being invested into expanding its US-based data centers, opening two new ones in the coming year. The question remains whether, despite 2023's big investments in the sector, CoreWeave can maintain this momentum and whether generative AI's stock will continue to rise.
