- 3+ years in customer success, account management, or enterprise consulting
- Experience working with enterprise or strategic accounts; Fortune 500 experience a plus
- Background in SaaS or tech environments
- Strong business acumen and stakeholder management
- Confidence in leading executive discussions and change initiatives
- Familiarity with HR or talent acquisition functions is a bonus
- Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and Salesforce
- A self-starter with a collaborative mindset and a passion for customer success

What the job involves
- At Hirevue, we're looking for a Customer Success Director (CSD) to join us on a fixed-term contract of approximately 14 months based in the UK
- This is a fantastic opportunity for someone ready to make an immediate impact — rolling up their sleeves, thinking big, and driving meaningful outcomes for our most strategic customers
- As a CSD, you'll be the go-to strategic partner for our enterprise customers — leading high-value conversations, accelerating ROI, boosting product adoption, and identifying expansion opportunities
- You’ll anticipate customer needs, inspire confidence, and help drive measurable success
- This is a dynamic, varied role where you’ll shift between strategic advising, cross-functional collaboration, and proactive customer engagement
- You’ll wear many hats — strategist, relationship builder, planner — and love every minute
- Build and execute strategic adoption and value plans across a portfolio of enterprise accounts
- Drive executive-level discussions and track progress toward business outcomes
- Champion best practices to elevate Net Promoter Scores and candidate experiences
- Collaborate closely with internal teams (sales, product, engineering) to align on customer success goals
- Identify and pursue growth opportunities in collaboration with the Strategic Sales team
- Guide customers in embedding HireVue tools into their recruitment workflows
- Educate and consult on best practices, product capabilities, and process optimization
- Represent the customer internally to influence product development and enhancements
- The individual in this role must be able to work from home in an environment free from distractions, where they can attend virtual video meetings
Our take
Companies are facing increasing competition to attract job seekers and therefore need new ways to make interviewing processes more accessible. HireVue does exactly this, working with companies to conduct video interviews - live or recorded - that are scheduled around a candidate’s availability.
In order to do so, the company has deployed the use of artificial intelligence, which assesses and scores a candidate based on skills like problem-solving and communication. This not only doubles the number of interviews and hires that a company can make (in less than half the time) but improves candidate quality. For this reason, companies like Amazon and Unilever deploy its services to scale and accelerate their hiring processes, a great reflection of the quality of HireVue's offering.
The company has met criticism, however, with some claiming its analysis of factors like facial movements, word choice or speaking voice is simply a blend of superficial measurements and arbitrary number-crunching that could be seen as unfair discrimination. Despite this, HireVue does seem to have found an interesting angle into the fruitful hiring industry and will look to expand its position over the coming years.
