Role
Who you are
- Proven experience leading end-to-end design projects, from research to implementation
- Strong proficiency in design tools, particularly Figma
- Experience in developing and managing scalable design systems
- Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and experience applying JTBD or similar frameworks
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fully remote, cross-functional team environment
- A portfolio showcasing your ability to deliver impactful, user-centered design solutions that align with business objectives
- Available to work standard working hours 9 am - 6 pm within the Pacific Standard time zone
- Available to travel occasionally domestically for training sessions and company events

- Lead the full design lifecycle, from user research and prototyping to final design implementation
- Develop and maintain design systems that ensure consistency and scalability across DroneDeploy’s platform
- Apply customer-centric frameworks such as Jobs to Be Done (JTBD) to create designs that deeply resonate with user needs and drive business goals
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and customer success, to align designs with business objectives and resource constraints
- Conduct usability testing and iterate on designs based on real-world feedback to continuously enhance the user experience
- Present and articulate design decisions and concepts to stakeholders across the organization, ensuring alignment with overall product strategy
