Who you are
- SPA - Proven experience in writing complex JavaScript SPA
- React/Redux - Proven experience with React + Redux
- Toolchain - Proven experience with a modern JS toolchain: NPM, Lerna, Webpack, ESLint,..
- Maintainability - A passion to write well-structured, easily maintainable, well-documented code that balances beauty and pragmatism

What the job involves
- Given our exciting and progressive growth plans, we are looking for an exceptional Senior Frontend Engineer to come join our global business
- Reporting directly to the Team Lead, and working collaboratively in a cross-functional product team within a tribe, you will be accountable for designing and developing applications and coordinating with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure Fresha

- To foster a collaborative environment that thrives on face-to-face interactions and teamwork, you will need to travel for one week once a quarter to our quarterly team events (in London/Warsaw/Prishtina)
- SDLC - Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable React code
- Performance - Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications
- Problem-solving - Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
- Quality - Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
- Lifecycle - Be involved in all stages of building products from inception, through delivery and beyond
- Architecture - Help to shape the future of our architecture and best practices
- Culture - Contribute to a healthy engineering culture of feedback and growth
- Integration - Familiarity with continuous integration
- Tooling - Familiarity with development aiding tools
- Database - Able to create database schemas that represent and support business processes
- Technologies - Familiarity with TypeScript, Cordova, Native development for Android and / or iOS, RAIL Performance, PWA, SSR, Node, Cypress and Jest
- Full Stack - Full-stack experience (double bonus points if Ruby or Elixir!)

Fresha allows consumers to discover, book and pay for beauty and wellness appointments with local businesses via its centralised marketplace, while beauty and wellness businesses and professionals use its all-in-one platform to manage their entire operations through a range of intuitive software and fintech solutions.
The company has taken a different approach compared to rivals in the salon management space. Rather than charging monthly, its software is free to use, and charges when a booking is made through the system. Fresha's platform also offers a range of financial products such as point-of-sale, customer records management and marketing automation, making it an appealing option for salon operators. This has allowed the company to swiftly build a network of merchants for its marketplace, and collate over 110,000 partner businesses processing over 1 billion appointments booked to date. The marketplace also creates revenue potential for partner companies through its online bookings, building integrations with social media brands like Instagram and Facebook.
Now that Fresha has solved the chicken-and-egg problem of starting a marketplace, it is using its market position to scale quickly. It now has 100,000 partner venues and is working within 120 countries. Between 2021 and 2023, it enjoyed 190% growth in its global bookings.
