Role
Who you are
- A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field
- You have 5 + years of experience in the healthcare market developing strategic alliances
- Experience working in a startup environment
- You can act as the player coach to help build a market leading solution
- You have the ability to attract and retain top talent
- Prior experience in a similar role and a strong demonstrable track record of success in building strategic partnerships
- Experience working with senior stakeholders to find win-win solutions
- You are highly goal oriented, assertive and a hands-on, problem solver
- You possess excellent communication & interpersonal skills
- You demonstrate the ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
- You have excellent organizational and time management skills
- Familiarity with CRM tools (eg. Salesforce) would be a plus
What the job involves
- The Director of Strategic Alliances will play a key role in developing and implementing strategic partnerships with healthcare entities who offer services that are complementary to stork club solutions
- As the leader you will build your team, develop the processes and set the team's goals and objectives
- Sourcing new partners and executing exciting partnership solutions with
- Health Insurance Brokers and Consultants
- Larger healthcare point solution providers like navigation and advocacy providers, total population health management providers and any other large point solution aggregators
- Health plans

- Work closely with sales and customer success teams to maintain alignment with our strategic goals and objectives
- Build alliance team
- Develop processes and OKR’s for the alliance team
- Negotiating attractive partnership deals and ensuring mutually beneficial partnership terms that are in line with business objectives and strategy
- Maintaining and deepening relationships with existing partners
- Developing metrics to measure ROI from partnerships
Our take
Attracting and retaining top talent is a major priority for most companies, but this is complicated by the cost of family-building related insurance. While the largest companies can handle these costs, smaller firms are unable to offer adequate coverage, forcing employees to choose between career and family. Stork Club was founded in 2017 to make it possible for employers to offer excellent fertility-related benefits to all their employees.
Stork Club provides insurance options through its network of major providers, allowing companies to swiftly understand the costs of its benefits offerings and allowing its customers to communicate clearly with its employees. It is also able to offer a defined range of benefits at all stages of the fertility journey to employees who offer Stork Club as an employment perk, with over 250 fertility clinics in its US network. This has led to a 20% increase in live births on its network due to IVF compared to the US average, and a saving of almost $2 million in medical costs per 10,000 employees.
Stork Club has raised a significant amount of funding, which it is investing in expanding its headcount and further developing its product offerings. Recently Stork Club announced an expansion of its services to the LGBTQ community with a range of gender-affirming hormone replacement therapy options to its platform. This seems likely to stand Stork Club in good stead as employers continue to compete for the top talent and grow diverse workplaces.
