Who you are

B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or related field
2+ years of Java Software Engineering experience
Strong knowledge of data structures, software design patterns and algorithms
You possess strong computer science fundamentals, including knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design
You have a good working knowledge of Java
Youre curious: if you dont know how something works, youll find out
You enjoy working collaboratively
You feel confident to plan out your own tasks and communicate progress, but willing to ask for help when needed

Desirable

Any prior experience with machine learning/data science would be useful (but is not required)
Experience in the mobile or ad tech industries is a big plus

What the job involves

Work with the Data Science team to design, build, and integrate new machine learning models
Write robust, scalable code, supported by tests
Refactor existing code where necessary
Integrate and use a variety of supporting systems, including Couchbase, MemSQL, S3, AWS SageMaker, Apache Kafka, NewRelic, Splunk and others
