Who you are
- Are you an experienced Software Engineer with a passion for leadership?
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in a professional software role
- Proven ability to manage, lead and mentor a growing team
- Solid technical skills: Python, Docker, Airflow, CI/CD, Git, Jupyter
- MSc. in Computer Science
- Professional-level English proficiency, both written and spoken
- Previous collaboration with physicists
- Good experience working with hardware
- Having already released products to the market
What the job involves
- We need someone to establish and guide a team focused on developing our core measurement stack and keen on helping our physicists build and operate Alice & Bob’s quantum computer
- Lead and help grow a team of 6-8 people, including recruitment of future members
- Ensure the team’s designs are robust, scalable, and in line with organizational standards
- Establish and enforce best practices around code reviews, testing, CI/CD, documentation, and release management
- Work with senior engineers and leadership to guide technical direction, evaluate new technologies, and set the future vision
- Regularly assess team processes and implement improvements
