Senior Data Engineer, Stoxx

• 5+ years experience, with focus on data engineering in the cloud
• Experience developing and deploying of large-scale, complex data pipelines
• Experience of decomposed batch transformation pipelines, based on lakehouse concepts
• Experience of cloud development, the benefits and challenges
• Experience of GCP, AWS or Azure products across database, serverless, containerization and API
• Pragmatic experience using agile to deliver incremental value
• Experience working in a global or multinational team setting
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Focus on simplicity, automation and observability
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Expertise with DBT, Python, SQL, Airflow, DataDog

• ISS Stoxx is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to bolster our expertise in the development and deployment of our cutting-edge financial intelligence platform
• We are concluding the first phase of a full-scale re-architecting of our on-prem data estate to a modern componentised set of solutions using GCP technologies
• In this IC role, you will collaborate with Principal Data Engineers and the wider team to evolve our data architecture and interpret product needs, requirements and enterprise policies into solutions that deliver clear value and accrue to our five-year vision
• You’ll be an advocate of our architecture and solutions and constantly seek feedback on ways to improve its fit
