Who you are
- Bachelor's degree preferably in Science, Quality, Engineering or related field with 1-2 years of experience in quality assurance department in a medical device or pharmaceutical industry
- Possess great attention to detail and can handle multiple conflicting priorities with a minimal supervision
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and organisation skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and escalate any issues identified to the senior management
- Strong technical aptitude (i.e., able to read & comprehend work instructions & execute steps as detailed in applicable procedures)
- Exceptional trouble shooting, analytical, problem-solving & root-cause analysis skills
- Ability to emphasize the need for ensuring quality and compliance of the product that will be delivered to the customer
- Possess basic understanding of ISO 13485:2016, FDA 21 CFR Part 820 and other applicable
What the job involves
- Verifying the quality of sample collection kits produced (in-process/finished product), incoming inspection of raw materials by ensuring that they are in accordance with the applicable procedures, specifications and meet appropriate acceptance criteria
- Reviewing batch paperwork prior to product release and maintaining documentation and records in a compliant state as per site procedure for control of records
- Communicate to management on product quality issues immediately and documenting on-hold notices and quality alerts efficiently, and participate in implementing continuous improvement site projects and initiatives
- Supporting the site Quality Management System processes as applicable (Change Controls, Documentation Management, CAPAs/NCRs, Audit Readiness, Supplier Quality Management)
- Assisting the management in collating and presenting the daily & weekly Quality metrics
