Role
Who you are
- This role is ideal for someone who grows in regulated, ambiguous spaces with a focus on customer experiences & can influence across Legal, Compliance, Engineering, and Marketing
- 5+ years of product management experience in technology, FinTech, or payments, delivering customer-facing products
- Experience using data and insights to inform product development with proficiency in setting metrics, tracking KPIs, and making data-driven decisions
- Experience building product roadmaps, managing complex projects, and working with engineering and design partners
- Deep empathy for customers, with experience using research, data, and experimentation to build products that solve problems at scale
- Experience influencing diverse cross-functional team members across business, technical, and compliance
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
What the job involves
- As a Senior Product Manager for the Remitly Business team, you'll define Remitly Business's strategy to expand our product into new geographies and ensure product-market fit in those markets
- You'll lead the global onboarding funnel for businesses in Remitly markets, driving high transfer delivery rates, strong approval rates, and seamless onboarding experiences
- You will be based in Seattle, WA and report into the GM of Remitly Business
- Define and lead the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Remitly Business's Global Access offering, aligning with our mission to deliver trusted financial services to businesses worldwide
- Be an important voice in communicating and acting on customer needs, pain points, and global market opportunities across cross-functional teams
- Prioritize product features using data & research ensuring a balance of customer value, business value, compliance, and scalability
- Lead end-to-end product development - delivering a clear 'why', strong documentation, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Collaborate with engineering, design, and analytics to design solutions, set measurable goals, and launch new capabilities that increase adoption and business growth
- Champion Remitly's customer-centric values, fostering a culture of inclusion, learning, and growth within the product team

Since its inception in 2011, Remitly has focussed on helping immigrants to send money across the world faster, cheaper and easier. The company has grown exponentially since then and now operates across multiple continents. Remitly put down most of its success on putting its customers first.
The emergence of digital banks with low transaction fees cross-country has increased competition in a space where Remitly was dominant for many years. The company must continue to innovate its product to ensure it is the go-to place for these types of payments.
That said, Remitly continues to partner with exciting companies and improve their service for loyal customers. The company is setting its sights beyond its core remittance service, such as through the introduction of Passbook, an app that allows customers to access digital banking through a partner bank.
