Who you are
- Track record of designing and being accountable for the delivery of a global people agenda; leading change programs across several functions and geographies
- Experience working across all elements of the People agenda, including organizational design, organisational change, performance and reward, employee relations and culture
- Proven ability to challenge the status quo to inspire change
- Strong ability to influence and coach senior business leaders
- Experience working with large scale global organizations, preferably with Corporate Functions
- Ability to analyze and leverage data to help leaders make informed business decisions
- Comfortable with tools and technologies; from Office to collaboration platforms
What the job involves
- The People Business Partner is a highly matrixed global role that requires you to work in a cohesive and collaborative manner with your business leaders as well as the broader People function to drive the strategic people agenda
- This role will provide partnership to multiple leaders, including at ExCo level, within the Corporate Functions teams
- The People Business Partner will be an integral member of global leadership teams driving a truly interconnected people agenda that contributes to the operational and financial performance of the business
- In this role, you will lead the execution of the people strategy to deliver business results, as well as creating tailored solutions to meet the needs of the teams across Corporate Functions
- The role will provide functional leadership and will also lead on people initiatives across the functions
- The role is based in London and will report to the Head of People, Corporate Functions
- Build strong relationships with leaders across multiple functions, including at ExCo and senior leadership level, to build deep understanding of their strategy and goals and develop long-term people plans to enable these
- Partner on the design & implementation of the organizational design required to build an effective and inclusive environment
- Interpret the business strategy to deliver the strategic workforce plans that are fit for purpose for both the short- and long-term. Align people costs spent with strategic workforce plans
- Partners across the group to reinforce and embed the LSEG values and culture
- Influencing and coaching leadership teams to reflect, evolve, transform, innovate and manage talent
- Lead efforts to build a diverse and inclusive environment where D&I is a key strategic driver
- Understands the functional strategy and effectively partner with business leaders to design a talent approach that enable business growth
- Use organizational health and business performance insight to design and implement action plans that contain appropriate levers (leadership, management practices, rewards)
- Build and strengthen the talent pool through comprehensive talent management including succession planning, talent flow and career management, talent acquisition and onboarding
- Use Performance & Reward frameworks as an appropriate driver of organizational performance
- Work closely with the business to instill a high performing culture. Effectively use metrics, analytics and tailored interventions to drive people performance
- Work cross functionally to develop, deliver and promote central initiatives that drive the business success
