Who you are

- Professional Foundation: ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification (or equivalent), with a solid grasp of core finance principles
- Relevant Experience: 1–3 years of post-qualification experience in a finance or analytical role
- Analytical Thinking: Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., lookups, pivot tables) and a comfort level working with financial systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Pigment)
- Collaboration: Effective communication skills and a desire to work closely with a diverse team
- Adaptability: A curiosity for how businesses scale and an interest in using modern tools and technology to solve traditional finance challenges
What the job involves
- We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated FP&A Analyst to join our finance team in London
- In this role, you will be a key contributor to our financial planning and strategic decision-making processes
- As part of a leading Multiverse, you will have the opportunity to use data-driven insights to help shape our future
- Financial Reporting: Collaborate on the preparation of weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reports, providing clear variance analysis against budgets and forecasts
- Planning & Forecasting: Support the annual budgeting cycle and contribute to re-forecasting exercises that reflect our evolving business strategy
- Strategic Communication: Assist in creating presentations and reports that provide meaningful insights for senior leadership and stakeholders
- System Optimization: Help maintain and refine our budgeting and planning systems, ensuring data is accurate, accessible, and user-friendly
- Digital Transformation: Play an active role in our finance automation journey by maintaining data hygiene and exploring how new technologies, including AI, can improve our workflows
- Process Improvement: Identify and propose ways to enhance FP&A reporting tools to increase efficiency across the team
- Project Support: Provide analytical support on varied ad-hoc projects as needed by finance leadership

- We want to be a leader in Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI), so we’re working hard to drive the change we want to see in the world, inside Multiverse.
- Everything we do in the DEI space is undertaken with the goal of being representative of the geographies in which we operate – and our apprentice community. Gender diversity has been a long-term challenge for the tech world. We're proud that 55% of our UK Team identify as women, this increases to 64% of our Global Leadership Team (director level and above). We're also proud of our thriving LGBTQQIAAP community, comprising 11% of our UK Team.
- We're committed to improving the diversity of our workforce, at all levels. We continue to invest in early talent through our in-house apprenticeship scheme – something we know is a fantastic route into our organization for exceptional talent from a diversity of backgrounds.
- Last year we identified improving the diversity of our Global Leadership Team (director level+) internally as an area of focus. Steps that we took included introducing robust DEI monitoring processes, rolling out Inclusive Recruitment Training to all staff involved in the hiring, and launching our first internal, Global Leadership Accelerator program.
