Staff Software Engineer, Coinbase

• The Protocol Integrations Team has a broad remit - managing crypto engineering for the entire company across 60 unique blockchain protocols
• Each protocol has its own unique requirements and challenges requiring a robust automation and orchestration layer to allow us to operate this diverse set of clients at Coinbase scale
• This role would encompass innovation across the entire crypto asset lifecycle
• From faster network additions, more scalable, robust and efficient operations, all the way to network migrations and deprecations, this role will expose you to a broad problem set with many opportunities to make a big impact to Coinbase and the broader crypto community
• Streamline and Accelerate Process and Architectures within the Crypto Stack
• Architect and develop distributed systems
• Improve Software and Infrastructure Reliability, Efficiency and Scalability
• Provide technical leadership to teams and work closely with management and stakeholders to define strategic roadmaps
• Manage individual projects priorities, deadlines and deliverables with your technical expertise
• Mentor and train other team members on design techniques and coding standards
• Design and implement foundational infrastructure components used by every engineering team in production (e.g. dynamic configuration, secrets storage, container orchestration, etc)
• Write high quality, well tested code to meet the needs of your customers
