Who you are
- We’re looking for a passionate, curious, and technically adept Associate Sales Engineer who’s eager to grow, collaborate, and make a real impact
- Our ideal candidate possesses general knowledge of the HR industry, business practices, and software systems, and has the ability to communicate the differentiated value of our platform
- If you thrive on learning, enjoy solving problems creatively, and love working in a team that values openness and growth, this is the place for you
- Preferred experience includes pre-sales, sales engineering, or solutions consulting. Alternatively, relevant experience in sales or as an industry/vertical practitioner, ideally within SaaS or B2B technology environments, will also be considered
- Demonstrated skills in consultative selling, including needs discovery, qualification, and objection handling
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to engage both technical and business stakeholders
- Proven ability to collaborate across teams and manage stakeholder relationships
- A proactive learner with a growth mindset and resilience in dynamic sales environments
- Passion and a drive to meet and exceed revenue targets
- Resourceful, motivated, and a team player who thrives on challenges
- Comfortable using AI tools to boost productivity and buyer engagement; experience with generative AI (like ChatGPT or similar) is a plus, but curiosity and a willingness to explore new technologies matter more

What the job involves
- In this role, you’ll partner closely with our Account Executives, Product, Customer Success, and Professional Services teams to bring our products to life for customers
- You’ll be a key connector between technical solutions and business outcomes — helping our clients understand how HiBob can transform their people operations and culture
- Prepare and deliver engaging, tailored technical demonstrations that not only showcase our platform’s capabilities, but also highlight the real-world impact on our customers’ people and culture
- Lead meaningful, consultative discovery conversations to deeply understand customers’ unique challenges, goals, and aspirations, enabling solution recommendations that drive real value
- Simplify complex technical concepts — such as API integrations and security protocols — into clear, relatable stories that resonate with diverse audiences — from HR professionals to IT leaders
- Collaborate transparently with sales, product, and customer success teams to ensure customer feedback shapes continuous innovation to meet evolving market needs
- Collaborate with your teammates by sharing your growing expertise and best practices in a supportive, inclusive way to elevate team expertise
- Use data-driven insights and customer feedback to constantly refine your approach, ensuring your technical storytelling is relevant and impactful
- Proactively spot potential technical challenges or blockers early in the sales journey, working with cross-functional teams to develop smart, customer-centric solutions that keep the experience seamless and aligned with HiBob’s commitment to transparency and trust
- Stay curious and engaged with industry trends, emerging technologies, and the competitive landscape to bring fresh insights to customers
- Embody HiBob’s values by fostering a positive, inclusive environment where teamwork and open communication
