Who you are
- 8+ years of experience in consulting, investment banking, or operations at a fast-paced SaaS tech company
- Comfortable working with data and proficiency in SQL + Excel
- SQL is a big PLUS or robust analytical experience (ex. finance, consulting, etc)

- Experience in the RCM (Revenue Cycle Management) space is a bonus
What the job involves
- As a Director of Launch Operations at Commure + Athelas, you will play a pivotal role in our Operations team, focusing on Revenue-Cycle Management, by working across the whole organization (Product, Engineering, Operations, Sales, and Account Management) to define critical business processes
- You will have end-to-end ownership, ensuring efficient execution and a seamless onboarding process for clients and driving business metrics
- This is an incredibly high-visibility, high-impact, high-autonomy role that will quickly expand to cover more and more emergent business problem areas
- Successfully navigating and solving our hyper-growth challenges will lead to rapid growth in role and responsibility
- Ensure the efficient and timely execution of all essential aspects of client onboarding, from project initiation to launch
- Engage in cross-functional collaboration with key internal stakeholders, including our Launcher, Account Management, Product, Engineering, and other Operations teams, to provide an exceptional experience for every customer
- Contribute to designing and implementing systems and processes that facilitate scalability and efficiency
- Breakdown hairy, challenging business problems
- Own execution and outcomes
- Oversee the entire project management process, ensuring timely and qualitative onboarding and continuous improvement of our key metrics
- Drive operational metrics (process throughput, defect rate, etc.)
- Understand the business in-and-out to be proactive about solving emerging problems
- 40-50% travel required

Today, healthcare providers are tackling the growing challenge of too much paperwork and too little time for patients. Many existing electronic health record (EHR) systems only add to the problem - digital, yes, but often too clunky, time-consuming, and disconnected from the tools doctors actually need. Athelas is tackling this by reimagining how healthcare software works, helping providers spend less time lcicking and more time caring for people.
Athelas offers a full suite of tools that combine AI-powered automation, remote patient monitoring (RPM), and integrated EHR and billing systems. And its newest platform, Athelas AIR, is a next-generation EHR designed to unify clinical and administrative workflows in one intelligent system. By embedding revenue cycle management (RCM) and ambient AI documentation directly into the platform, Athelas AIR strreamlines everything from charting to billing. And the goal is simple, to reduce administrative burden, improve margins, and ultimately, give healthcare teams a smoother, smarter way to work.
The company has made some impressive strides lately too. After achieving unicorn status in 2022 and merging with healthcare software leader Commurein 2023, Athelas is now valued at around $6B. It has also partnered with organizations like Resilient HEalthcare to power at-home care programs, bringing hospital-level technology into patients homes. And with over 100 clients lined up to adopt Athelas AIR, the company is very much positioning itself as a leader in intelligent healthcare infrastructure.
