Business Development Representative, KEY ESG

• 1+ years of experience in a sales or lead generation role (preferably in SaaS, B2B, or sustainability sectors)
• Proven experience in outbound sales, including cold outreach via LinkedIn & email. Strong research abilities to identify and engage key decision-makers and be able to tailor messaging accordingly.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstratable ability to engage prospects in meaningful conversations about their ESG challenges and needs. Strong presentation skills are crucial.
• A track record of meeting or exceeding quotas, proactive mindset, and ability to take ownership of the sales pipeline while working well in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team player.

Desirable

• Conduct outbound prospecting through cold calling, email outreach, LinkedIn engagement, and networking to identify new business opportunities
• Qualify inbound leads from marketing campaigns and assess their fit for KEY ESG’s solutions
• Schedule and coordinate discovery meetings between prospective clients and Account Executives
• Research target industries, companies, and key decision-makers to develop a strong pipeline of qualified prospects
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities in HubSpot & Saleforce.
• Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to refine messaging and improve outreach effectiveness
• Stay informed about ESG trends, sustainability regulations, and competitors in the market
