Who you are

2+ years of experience working in the DevOps/Platform Engineering space, either as a vendor or as an industry practitioner
2+ years of experience writing and designing software, including basic UI/UX design. We have developers and designers, but these foundational engineering skills make it easier to empathize with our customers and end-users

What the job involves

We are hiring an inbound Sr. Product Manager to help us methodically define customer problems and work directly with engineering to validate in-product feature enhancements
In our work environment, there will be little abstraction between you, our community, and our technical decision-makers
Research and define customer problems via customer calls, support tickets, community feedback, and weighing other solutions in the ecosystem
Work with engineering to evaluate and weigh several solutions, such as minor docs improvements, ecosystem partnerships, or large-scale product/feature overhauls
Clarify our feature design and implementation cycles via problem statements and product requirements
