What the job involves
- This is not your typical Sales Development Representative role: we are looking for someone who is excited to both prospect and help build our overarching sales demand strategy
- As an SDR here at Persona, you'll drive our sales growth engine by creating our pipeline generation mechanisms through developing and executing outbound strategies while partnering with Account Executives
- The ideal candidate wants to actively participate in the development of the sales process and the articulation of Persona’s value proposition
- Identify high-potential businesses, verticals, and markets, and conduct outbound prospecting activities to generate leads for Persona
- Qualify prospects by understanding their needs, challenges, and fit with Persona’s products
- Engage with prospects through effective communication, delivering exceptional service, and build relationships to create interest and generate sales opportunities
- Collaborate with Account Executives to schedule meetings and hand off qualified leads for further sales engagement
- Research and stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape to effectively position our offerings
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of prospect interactions and update Salesforce
- Continuously improve product knowledge and sales skills through ongoing training and professional development
