Role
Who you are
- We are looking for a proactive, innovative, self-starter who wants a hands-on role in building out our new MasterClass at Work (Enterprise) business
- This person will have a unique mix of B2B Marketing skills and experiences that will help position this new business and successfully manage moving prospects through our sales pipeline
- Above everything else, you are someone who drives impact, uses curiosity to do so and in the end, you’ve made both yourself and others better
- Proven success in an early stage enterprise (B2B) marketing role
- Ability to understand buyer personas and align creative content and integrated marketing campaigns to an overall marketing strategy
- Proven success developing go-to-market motions across market segments with a focus on product marketing
- Leadership: in the form of leading a team and leading a strategy to execution
- Scrappy and comfortable with ambiguity: this is a builder role and things change quickly here, you need to be comfortable with that
- Communication: you will be collaborative with team members and stakeholders across the organization
What the job involves
- Develop Enterprise Marketing plans that will enable us to hit our sales goals
- Understand the personas of the buyers for our Enterprise business and educate them about MasterClass at Work, and what problems we are trying to solve
- Lead integrated and strategic marketing and communications plan for our Enterprise business to advance brand awareness via campaigns and programs
- Work cross-functionally to integrate the Enterprise business into the fabric of the company
- Drive creative and content marketing for our Enterprise business ranging from sales collateral to blog content and social media content
- Manage outbound marketing efforts from advertising, AR/PR, Digital, Web, Social, and Events to drive visibility across stakeholders
- Manage a small but mighty team and train, motivate people to perform at their best, and provide effective and timely feedback to achieve results
- Develop lead generation campaign/program strategy, objectives, goals, metrics, and define best practices, standards, and processes to drive increases in successful customer acquisition and current customer upsell opportunities

Our take
MasterClass is a streaming platform that offers its members the chance to learn skills and theory directly from the best in the business, all with celebrity status. For example, learning to cook with Gordon Ramsay, mastering tennis techniques with Serena Williams, and perfecting songwriting with Alicia Keys.
The streaming platform provides more than 100 classes across nine categories, including sport, wellness, music, food, and business. Each class is made up of around 20 short video lessons, accompanied by a workbook and a members’ community.
With a $2.5 billion valuation and no shortage of funding, MasterClass is seen as a leader in the edtech market and differentiates itself from fierce competitors Udacity and Udemy by blurring the line between education and entertainment.
