Role
Who you are
- 8+ years CPG experience, preferably with direct media budget ownership
- They should have a passion for creating unique, attention grabbing content rooted in consumer insights that highlights Pinterest’s core strengths
- Understanding of and experience with digital platforms including critical KPIs
- Excellent communication, content building and storytelling skills
- Strong team player with ability to succeed in a rapidly changing environment
- Ability to collaborate, influence and lead internal cross-functional teams
- Seasoned public speaker with executive presence who can represent Pinerest externally as needed at industry events, panels, etc
- Passionate team player with a sense of humor and desire to win with, and for, the team
What the job involves
- This role sits at the intersection of marketing, sales and strategy. This content producing role will work collaboratively across disciplines to craft the go-to-market vertical narrative and develop content that will be amplified from Pinterest’s paid, owned and earned marketing and sales channels
- You will set the vertical vision in partnership with sales, insights and product leadership, and will serve as the external face and industry expert for the company, often speaking publicly at industry events
- Leverage your CPG vertical expertise to build marketing content that will increase awareness, drive demand and promote comprehension for Pinterest ad solutions
- Work collaboratively across business marketing teams to build and execute world class marketing programs that support vertical revenue growth
- Foster deep collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams including sales, product, measurement and creative
- Represent Pinterest as the chief spokesperson for CPG in market at key industry forums, events and press; building and fostering relationships within the industry
- Contribute to the evolution of advertising solutions by supporting, encouraging and fostering intelligent risk-taking that improve KPI impact
