Who you are

You are a student in an economics/psychology degree programme or a comparable field of study - and will be for at least another 12 months
Initial work experience in the HR area through student traineeships or internships is an advantage
You are willing to use and further develop your already good communication skills in telephone and personal conversations
You would like to learn more about recruiting and applicant management
You enjoy working independently and in a structured manner
You are proficient in MS Office
You are business fluent in German and at least fluent in English. Other language skills are an advantage, but not a must
You are looking for a working student job for 20 hours per week

What the job involves

Our Recruiting Team Tech & Corporate Functions is responsible for all matters relating to recruitment in the areas of Tech, Product, HR, Marketing, Finance, Legal and more
Our range of tasks extends from job advertisements, actively approaching candidates, sifting through application documents and conducting interviews to signing contracts
You work closely with our recruiters and support them in their daily business
You check the completeness of application documents and support the screening of candidates
You are responsible for contacting qualified candidates by phone and scheduling appointments
You keep track of our applicant communication
You document, update and internationalise the recruiting knowledge within our knowledge management system
You are actively involved in recruiting projects (e.g. evaluation of recruiting channels)

The ‘trustmark’ is awarded once companies pass an audit for areas like consumer protection and creditworthiness. Qualifying retailers then benefit from a number of Trusted Shops features including buyer protection, legal security aid, and verified customer feedback.

Trusted Shops has grown substantially since its premillenial conception. Now over tens of thousands of shops use the trademark, including Volkswagen, Shopify, and Decathlon, and it’s established an expanding footprint of subsidiaries across France, Poland, Spain, and Denmark.

Also on offer is an SaaS solution that helps companies manage and analyse customer feedback. This software is likely to prove critical in bolstering Trusted Shops’ position. After all, the eCommerce landscape has changed substantially over the past 20 years. With major trusted retailers like Amazon swiping a substantial market share nowadays, the need for trustmarks to guide the modern shopper is becoming less urgent, and Trusted Shops will need to accommodate this.
