Role
Who you are
- Over 7 years of product management experience, with at least 4 years specializing in banking, payments, international wires, and ACH within a fintech environment
- Demonstrated expertise in crafting intuitive, user-friendly financial products, with a strong focus on UX design and sensibility
- Proven ability to conduct user research, extracting actionable insights to drive impactful product enhancements
- Skilled in leveraging data analytics to inform UX strategies and evaluate the effectiveness of product changes
- Adept at balancing technical requirements with a user-first mindset, ensuring seamless alignment between product capabilities and customer needs
What the job involves
- We are seeking a Product Lead to drive Narmi’s Business Banking Product Roadmap
- In this role, you'll shape the vision and strategy for our Business Banking product lines while delivering measurable business outcomes
- You’ll work cross-functionally with Design, Engineering, Sales, Business Development, and our Co-Founders to define the “what” and “why” of Narmi’s future products and features and own the roadmaps leading to their execution
- You’ll be an instrumental part of our future success and immediately impact shipping a mission-critical platform that hundreds of thousands of users use
- Stakeholder Management: Build and nurture relationships across the company to align on product plans, ensuring stakeholders are included in key decisions to minimize surprises and foster support
- Drive prioritization and resource allocation at the company level, ensuring executive support and visibility for your team’s progress and outcomes
- Business Outcome Ownership: Take ownership of the outcomes driven by the Business Banking team, proactively adapting strategies and roadmaps to maximize results
- Product Vision and Roadmapping: Define and communicate the product vision, the strategic narrative, and expected outcomes for Narmi’s Business banking roadmap
- Strategic Impact: Contribute to company-level strategy, and develop expertise in Business Banking across fintech, bank tech, and community banking to inform strategy
- Product Delivery: Make informed trade-off decisions to maximize value, creatively leveraging resources for efficient delivery
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, QA) to ensure high-quality product releases
- Enhance team processes to improve feature specification and overall efficiency
- Product Launch and Marketing: Partner with marketing and sales to craft effective product launch strategies and GTM materials
- Voice of the Customer: Integrate user research into the roadmap, leveraging insights to maximize customer value and refine products
- Engage with clients and prospects to present Narmi’s Business Banking vision and gather feedback
- Build and manage a team of product managers responsible for Narmi’s business banking roadmap
Our take
The digitization of the banking world, led by the likes of Monzo, Wise and N26 and adopted by legacy banks threatens to leave smaller institutions behind. With over half of Americans doing most of their banking online, and just under half of the banking market share held by banks outside the top 15, Narmi is allowing its clients to close this gap.
Narmi provides cloud-based technology to credit unions, regional and community banks, allowing them to provide secure digital onboarding and e-banking to consumers and small businesses. Today, financial institutions with billions of dollars in deposits use Narmi to increase profitability, deposits, and accounts.
The company has decided to target the grassroots with whom local banks are more popular, particularly older customers who have only recently turned to digital banking. This approach has won it the confidence of Greycroft, NEA and Picus Capital who co-led its 2022 Series B funding round, and Narmi is using these funds to continue its impressive growth through a number of high-profile partnerships with the likes of Treasury Prime and First Bank.
