Cybersecurity is a hugely significant aspect of modern life, with so much now being based online. Whether it's as simple as social media, or as sensitive as online banking, the smallest of data breaches can lead to severe consequences.
London-based cybersecurity startup OutThink is taking an alternative approach to the issue of online breaches. Rather than simply educating employees on the best online practices to avoid security breaches, OutThink leverages machine learning, natural language processing, and applied psychology to identify the attitudes, intentions, and sentiments of people within an organisation, combining this data with data from Microsoft Defender and Sentinel to provide an overall risk assessment.
Through funding provided by the likes of AlbionVC and TriplePoint Capital, OutThink is planning to expand internationally. With names like Whirlpool, Danske Bank, Rothschild, and NatWest already using its technology, it is in a prime position to extend its reach.
