Proficient with React, Styled Components, Typescript, Node, Express, PostgreSQL, and AWS (S3, Lambda) - ps. we’ve done our best to check this already
Experience working with RESTful and GraphQL APIs
Opinionated about product: you care about creating beautiful user experiences
Value autonomy, moving fast and getting Sh*t done

What the job involves

As a full-stack engineer, you will help shape, design and maintain our price comparison and boarding platform as well as our internal/external tools
You'll also go deep into the stack building and maintaining the backend modules that sits behind these innovative products
You'll have the opportunity to spin up MVPs of new products and features that we're excited about

We’ll do a 90 minute final session, ideally in person (Spitalfields, London). In this, you’ll meet the team and have 2-3 final interviews

Our take

Tuza, formerly Statement, is matching and handling the process of merchants who are looking to switch providers. So far, the company is only working with select acquirers and PSPs by invitation but is proactively on the lookout for new businesses that may benefit from its services.

While the company may be new to the market, Tuza is looking to disrupt the payment industry and already has the backing from EF, a London-based VC funded by the founders of Stripe, Monzo, GoCardless, and Wise.
