Who you are
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT management, extensive expertise in Microsoft 365 administration, and a proven track record in managing budgets and IT infrastructure
- 5-10 years of experience in IT management roles, with a proven ability to lead teams and manage IT operations
- In-depth expertise in Microsoft 365 administration and enterprise-level IT solutions
- Strong background in networking (LAN/WAN) and network management
- Extensive experience with security appliances and threat management systems
- Solid experience in budget management, ensuring cost-effective technology investments
- Proven experience working in international business environments and managing cross-functional collaboration
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to drive IT strategy, foster team performance, and promote innovation
What the job involves
- We are seeking a highly skilled IT Manager to lead and drive our technology operations and strategy in a fast-paced, international environment
- Oversee and manage IT operations, ensuring reliable and efficient technology performance across all departments
- Administer and optimize Microsoft 365 environments, maintaining high levels of security and operational efficiency
- Develop, monitor, and control IT budgets, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives and goals
- Establish and enforce IT policies and best practices in alignment with global corporate standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive and support digital transformation initiatives
- Ensure compliance with international IT standards, security protocols, and industry regulations
- Manage and maintain network infrastructure, including both LAN and WAN, to ensure seamless connectivity and performance
- Oversee the use and deployment of security appliances to safeguard organizational assets

Our take
Developments in the AI sector have increased the strain on data centres and chips, generating more heat from their processes than ever before. Cooling methods using air and water are not keeping pace with the amount of energy needed to support AI. Submer is on a mission to build data centres and processing plants that are as sustainable as they are efficient.
Submer’s eco-friendly product for data centres and chip processing is built from a coolant of non-flammable, biodegradable and synthetic liquid that physically acts in the same way as water. The racks for servers are stored and operate from within a smart container which further lessens the heat produced by data centres. Submer’s range of products even allows for the coolant to be reused via a heat exchanger.
It’s an inspired solution for an increasingly pressing problem. Data centres are going nowhere, yet the vital need for greener energy solutions puts pressure on these industries. It’s unsurprising then that Submer has raised considerable funding that is being channelled into the expansion of its product. Server component manufacturers are even beginning to build their products to be compatible with Submer’s, indicating the eagerness with which the industry is welcoming the solution.
