What the job involves
- The Regional Manager (RM) is responsible for leading and managing a team of 10 to 12 sales representatives within a specific geographic region
- Key responsibilities include hiring, developing sales strategies with the team, monitoring sales performance, training and mentoring sales team members, and collaborating with other departments to ensure overall sales success
- The RM plays a critical role in driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets within their designated region
- Team Leadership: Recruit, hire, and maintain the sales team headcount, ensuring a high level of talent
- Training and Development: Conduct 2-3 ride days per week to develop and train team members
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with sales reps to strategize new business opportunities and manage existing client relationships
- Team Meetings: Lead weekly team meetings and hold one-on-one sessions with each representative
- Cross Department Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments to solve problems and ensure cohesive sales efforts
- Motivation and Promotion: Motivate, encourage, and promote your team members to achieve their best performance
- Account Management: Build and oversee a book of business, managing at least 20 accounts that need to be allocated to team members
- Success is measured by the growth and success of the team, fostering a winning culture, and promoting career advancement and earnings among reps. Achieving active participation and contribution from the entire team each month
