Who you are
- From the very first moment someone considers Gaia as part of their fertility journey, we aim to offer clarity and care. That’s where you come in
- Have minimum 1 year of experience qualifying leads and potential prospects over the phone and via inbound forms (required)
- Experience in the healthcare or fertility space (nice to have)
- Are empathetic and deeply care about our Members - the IVF experience is incredibly stressful and empathy for what they are going through is a must
- Are a self-starter - you’ll be working as part of a small team but also a specific growth project, so we’ll be looking to you to help set us up for success
- Have strong interpersonal skills - you’ll constantly be communicating with patients, clinic staff and the rest of our company via email and phone calls
What the job involves
- We’re looking for a BDR (Patient Support) to connect with prospects as they consider Gaia for their fertility journey
- You’ll be the first human touchpoint for patients early in their fertility journey; answering questions, building trust, and making sure they feel supported every step of the way
- This is a unique opportunity to support people at one of the most pivotal moments in their lives and help shape how Gaia shows up for them
- You’ll work closely with our Marketing team to manage the prospect pipeline for any patient starting their fertility journey in the early stages
- You’ll be acting as the main point of contact for prospects and guiding them seamlessly through the initial stages of their journey
- You’ll as a point of contact for clinic staff at your assigned clinics to support members book their initial consultations
- You’ll book initial calls between “ready to go” patients and our Member Growth Team
- Manage a marketing pipeline of Gaia prospects
- Qualify potential members at their early stages throughout inbound forms and outbound sales calls
- Support MQLs to book a clinic consultation
- Book initial calls between Gaia Prospects and Member Growth Associates
- Manage all communication with Prospects via calls and email
- Effectively carry out processes to track prospects' initial journey and share data with clinics and the rest of the team
- Identify opportunities for increasing our sales pipeline to drive overall Member growth
Our take
Gaia Fertility was founded in 2020 as a response to founder Nader Alsalim and his wife’s personal difficulty with IVF: it took three clinics in two countries, and £50,000 over four years to conceive. Creating the start-up from a patient experience perspective helps them to solve the challenges of intended parents.
Their approach is to take the guesswork out of trying for a baby. They use a personal predictive technology tool, “Gabi”, which has analysed the data from over one million past IVF treatments over 35 years and can compare it with clients information.
There is some well-reasoned concern for vulnerable parents being sold ‘false hope’ in overseas IVF treatments. However, with only 12% of NHS groups offering the recommended number of IVF cycles, Gaia can offer an alternative, specialised care package.
With substantial funding raised in 2022 from high-profile investors, and a growing focus on fertility health in men and women across society, Gaia is well-positioned to disrupt this market and make a real difference in the lives of intended parents.
