Who you are
- If you’re a research-savvy SEO enthusiast eager to dive into the inner workings of a high-performing content engine, this is your moment
- 1–2 years of experience in an SEO, content, or marketing support role

What the job involves
- We’re looking for a Freelance SEO Specialist (English Native) to help us build a consistent pipeline of optimized content and high-quality backlinks
- You’ll play a key role in planning and writing content, publishing it faster, and promoting it with strategic link-building tactics
- This is a freelance opportunity to start, but with real potential to grow into a long-term position
- Support keyword and topic cluster research across HappyScribe’s core product areas
- Create SEO content briefs and articles aligned with our roadmap
- Help identify link-building opportunities through:
- ABC link exchanges
- Guest post outreach
- Journalist and PR research (using tools or manual outreach)
- Conduct performance tracking and surface optimization ideas

The company claims its automated AI-driven solution is up to 85% accurate, but users can pay for human-interrupted services to reach 99%+ accuracy.
Whilst Happy Scribe will inevitably face competition from existing transcription solutions, the company still shows a cutting edge by providing an end-to-end online workflow and deployment toolkit. - What we're doing. 🔎 Targeted sourcing. We consider applications from everyone, but when we look for candidates, we actively look for people who are under-represented at the moment in our company, especially in certain areas like engineering or product.

When we are unsure about someone, especially if it’s a screening call where only one person was interviewing, we get second opinions from other people in the team to check our biases. Sometimes we do this for applications as well.
- 🤓 We’re feedback nerds. We love giving feedback to candidates: we believe it’s important to give something back in exchange for the time invested in getting to know Happy Scribe. There’s an extra advantage to this: if the feedback needs to go to the candidate, it means it needs to be well articulated, fair and justified.
