Role
Who you are
- 3+ years’ proven experience as brand, loyalty or marketing manager (preferably with TV as a main communication channel)
- 5+ years of project management experience
- Extensive experience as a brand manager in creative agency or in-house, creative or producer’s role for TV content or other video production for TV and/or digital, PR or journalist
- Good knowledge of how the offline media market works
- Team player - have worked with both small and large teams
- Highly skilled communicator and stakeholder manager
- Excellent verbal and written English language skills
- Eager to understand how things work, improve where there is something and create where there is nothing
- At least basic analytics knowledge
- The position is based in Berlin, Germany, and might require travelling every few months
- Bonus: media experience across multiple countries
- Bonus: any other major EU language skills (Polish, German, French, Spanish, Dutch, Italian, etc.)
What the job involves
- You will be a part of the Growth team within the Marketing department, which includes the Offline buying teams and the TV data science team
- The Offline team is focused on tracking, measuring, analysing, optimising, and booking primarily TV campaigns all over the globe, and is extremely data-driven – all arguments and decisions are made based on numbers and in-depth analysis
- Manage the full process of integrated campaigns from start to finish – strategic briefing, pitching, evaluation, price negotiations, creative briefing, 360 production (including SoMe, influencer marketing and PR communication), result evaluation, reporting
- Build and pitch integrated media creative ideas internally and externally, as well as manage daily creative and production decisions on your own
- Launch non-standard media concepts across multiple markets and scale-out best performers to all Vinted markets
- Cooperate with the Offline team, Brand, PR, IM, design, and other teams, as well as media partners to deliver the final result
- Help to create, upgrade and document the non-standard project processes and results
- Support the offline team in long-term offline media strategy creation from a non-standard project angle

Our take
For many years, the online fashion resale market was dominated by eBay. Vinted, first set up as a local website, has challenged the incumbent market leader by shifting focus towards sustainability.
Vinted has managed to compete successfully with other eCommerce platforms by providing more creative and personalized ways to shop, and focusing solely on fashion. With 75 million users it outstrips other fashion-focused competitors in this space, such as Depop which has roughly half the user base, but it sees its real competition in retailers that sell new clothing.
Vinted has raised significant funding which it has invested into rapid expansion, growing its presence in European markets and scaling up its US operations. While in the short term this has caused its profitability to drop, this expanded market reach is likely to yield dividends in the very near future.
