What the job involves

Design the architecture of the web applications to make them scalable, reusable and extensible
Develop, maintain and troubleshoot the web applications written using TypeScript, React, Next.js and GraphQL
Develop, maintain and troubleshoot the server applications, written using GoLang, Python3, Django, MySQL, ElasticSearch, Celery, Redis and GraphQL
Develop connections between the server and web applications to achieve the stable connection and secure data exchange using secure data transfer protocols
Communicate with the team of Product Managers to better understand the business needs and translate them into the technical implementation
Communicate with the team of UI/UX designers to build the complex user interfaces and create the best user experience to the customers
Communicate with the team to Infrastructure engineers to maintain the Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery pipelines
Maintain the analytical dashboards and underlying SQL queries used to visualize the business-critical data
Constantly research for the new technologies to keep the technology state up to date with the latest security and reliability best practices

Our take

LeetCode is used by software developers to help them prepare for technical interviews. In theory, the platform is pretty simple, operating as a repository of interview tests and questions commonly used by top tech companies.

Though the company’s roots go back to around 2011, LeetCode’s big break came in 2018 when it launched in China, where the last decade has seen a surge in the popularity of coding – something that’s been driven in part by government policy.

It should come as no surprise, given its current market success, that LeetCode’s chief investor is Lightspeed China Partners. However, after its latest funding round, the company is eyeing up expansion beyond the US and China.
