Who you are

— Expert knowledge of PGSQL/mysql
— Knowledge of basic security tools for various databases (roles, privileges, owner)
— Ways to control and optimize connections to the database
— Experience with db-proxy
— Experience in creating test copies of data similar to sales values for the possibility of testing using the data obfuscation method

Desirable

— Experience in setting up productive systems
— Experience in finding solutions to problems in both cloud and classic databases
— Experience in automating DBA activities and monitoring processes
— Knowledge of non-relational databases
— Experience with AWS RDS
— Understand PGSQL extensions

What the job involves

— Solving incidents that arise during the operation of systems, including highly loaded and cluster systems
— Load analysis, reading query plans, providing recommendations to developers at the Dev / Test stage
— Setting up, finalizing monitoring systems, finding bottlenecks
— Organization of backups and replications, fault tolerance and high availability
