Candor was founded in 2019 as a service to help employees manage their Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). The company's platform enables employees to sell better with a tailored trading plan and options to reinvest. It also offers tools to optimize tax, potentially saving hundreds.
In addition, the company offers salary negotiation sessions and helps them prepare for interviews with mock sessions with product managers from large corporations such as Facebook, Google and Amazon. This helps them to prepare for negotiating, and provides insights on when is the best time to reinvest or cash out.
One area for further exploration is providing advice on how to handle companies that don’t want the employee to know what their co-workers earn, which would otherwise help to empower an employee to negotiate the salary they deserve. It'll be interesting to see how Candor's popularity as a service grows over the coming years.
