Who you are
- Proven sales professional with experience selling technical solutions to research/strategy teams at the end user and stakeholder level, across middle-market corporations
- Successful technical seller who will take ownership and quarterback the sales opportunity from start to finish
- Experienced in building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
- Exhibits strong executive presence and communication skills
- Proactive in identifying opportunities for and history of detailed sales processes and pipeline maintenance
- Experienced in partnering closely with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Technical teams
What the job involves
- Reports to: Sales Director Corporates for Enterprise Intelligence
- AlphaSense is the market leader in AI driven search and due to client demand, AlphaSense is expanding our EI (Enterprise Intelligence) sales team
- Enterprise Intelligence securely enables clients to generate unique insights from a combined library of client’s own qualitative intellectual property and AlphaSense’s trusted external content sets
- This solution leverages AlphaSense’s market leading proprietary GenAI and LLM, to enable the client’s IP to be more discoverable and actionable
- Prospect new Enterprise Intelligence opportunities and partner with internal Account Executives and Account Managers to execute on identified strategies
- Lead opportunity qualification (Metrics, Economic Buyer, Decision Criteria, Decision Process, Paper Process, Identify Pain, Champions, and Competition), and ongoing communication and commercial conversations
- Manage the sales process and coordinate across Sales, Technical, and Product teams for client feedback, enhancement requests, and communicating the product strategy
- Manage weekly calls with key stakeholders (internal and external) with active and prospective opportunities
- Carry out a consultative sales approach, operating as an industry and workflow expert
- Build trial plans and collaborate on the path to close strategies with key clients and internal Stakeholders

To remedy this, AlphaSense has built a smart search engine that slashes research time for analysts, using thousands of sources and a semantic indexing layer that can effectively query finance-specific language.
As a disruptor and market leader in this field AlphaSense has few direct competitors, being most closely compared to Wolfram Alpha or LexisNexis. It helps that its tools are undoubtedly effective and valued by knowledge professionals: the company counts about 85% of the S&P 100 as customers and is trusted by J.P.Morgan, Microsoft, Credit Suisse and Google, among other major enterprises.
Having raised a large amount of funding over 2022 and 2023, AlphaSense has moved quickly to double down on its expansion in European markets, opening an office in Berlin to support this. With 2024 seeing investment from Singaporean EDBI, it is now setting its sights on the Asia-Pacific region. As business intelligence will remain key for enterprises as they compete for market share, AlphaSense is well-placed for additional future growth.
