To build a fitness service that improves lives.
With options to transport users to Icelandic lakes, Ethiopian volcanoes or even outer space, Supernatural brings something entirely different to the home workout market.
The product operates as a subscription that powers the Oculus Quest headset. Supernatural faces stiff competition in the space, directly from FitXR and Beat Saber (acquired by Facebook in 2020) and also competes with Peloton – although its lower price point and innovation through VR may help it to take the lead.
However, Supernatural's reliance on third party hardware (the Oculus Quest) does present risks, not least because Oculus has experienced severe supply shortages in the past few years. Despite this, Supernatural's popularity in the VR sphere is a good indication of future success.
