Role
Who you are
- An outstanding software engineer with 5+ years shipping high complexity code with a track record of owning and delivering significant projects from conception to production
- Fluent in C#, C++, Java, Go or another object oriented programming language
- Experienced building APIs; REST or gRPC backend services at scale
- Experienced with frontend development frameworks such as React, Ember, or Angular
- Proficient with relational and non-relational databases like SQL Server, MySQL, DynamoDB
What the job involves
- As a Senior Software Engineer with the Creators Success Team, you'll have the independence, opportunity, and the end-to-end responsibility from building foundational systems across multiple products, to creating new web applications to support developers of games and other experiences within the Roblox ecosystem
- The Creator Success team empowers Roblox to be the best development platform for creating 3D social experiences, enabling our creators to publish compelling content within the Roblox ecosystem
- This includes services and solutions around the Organizations & Permissions, Developer Forum, Talent Marketplace and Creator Dashboard
- You will lead projects building world class tools, frameworks and solutions to improve end-user productivity, amplify creator success and increase developer joy
- Build & Own customer facing products that enables millions of Creators on the platform
- Build next generation distributed collaborative platform for the largest creator community in the world
- Build ML driven services to allow creators to efficiently engage the talent marketplace in a safe and civil manner
- Work with the brightest minds and the most amazing people in the world
- Have a direct impact on the future direction of the developer products at Roblox
- Mentor & lead junior engineers, interns to help build & grow the team
- Report to Engineering Manager, Creator Teams
