Who you are
- Currently enrolled in an accredited university, pursuing a Master’s degree, with an expected graduation by Spring 2026
- Some experience programming in Java
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Able to work during one of the following periods: May 19th - August 8th or June 16th - September 5th
- Must be available for the entire 12-week internship period
- Open to students who are U.S. citizens or international students with an F-1 visa
- Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates

What the job involves
- The Search Platform team is responsible for powering the majority of PlayStation’s search functionality. We manage the indexing of various types of data, interpreting queries, and delivering relevant content in a logical order
- Our high-traffic, revenue-sensitive, and mission-critical search system is integral to the PlayStation experience. If you're excited about diving into technical challenges while making a tangible business impact, this is the right team for you
- Understand PlayStation's search system and develop new functionalities to improve content discovery for users
- Enhance the quality of the search system
- Support the team in addressing and resolving issues or requests related to search functionality
