Role
Who you are
- Starting final years of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related program
- Strong programming skills in GoLand, C, Java, or similar language
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Enthusiasm for problem-solving and troubleshooting at scale
- Must be legally eligible to work in the UK on an ongoing basis
What the job involves
- You will report to a Smartsheet Manager for 12 weeks over the summer months
- Gain hands-on, real-world experience as you develop and maintain core components of our grid event service
- Take part in code reviews and architectural discussions as you collaborate within a diverse, dynamic team
- Pair with experienced engineers to diagnose and troubleshoot complex issues at scale
- Optimize system performance and algorithms to help improve reliability and latency of the platform
