Role
Who you are
- Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, industrial, mechanical, electrical engineering or related field
- 5+ years of experience with the production of complex hardware
- Experience with PLM, MES, configuration and data management controls and systems
- Experience working to AS9100 process and standards
- Experience with working hands-on-hardware and fabrication methods
- Experience building and producing classified hardware in SCIF’s or SAP facilities
- Ability to maintain or obtain TS/SCI clearance
- Successful candidates will be located near Long Beach, CA
- The physical demands of the job, including bending, sitting, lifting and driving

- Experience building space hardware including, but not limited to, fluid systems, structures, harnessing, or PCBAs

- You will gain experience at every phase of the spacecraft program including design, analysis, manufacturing, test, and flight

- Supporting the initial setup and scaling of a new spacecraft manufacturing facility
- Generate work instructions for mechanical and electrical assemblies
- Supporting production operations as needed to ensure workflow stays uninterrupted
- Generate NCR’s (non-compliance reports), support investigation through resolution, and own the execution of dispositions
- Manage calibration and certification of mechanical and electrical GSE (ground support equipment)
- Provide technical and engineering assistance to team of technicians
- Complete process improvements and corrective actions to increase efficiency of production
- Provide manufacturing expertise to design engineering and contribute to documentation such as drawings, SOPs (standard operating procedures), etc
- Create spacecraft assembly kits for rapid production

True Anomaly is a space tech startup composed of former military operators and engineers. The Colorado-based company is focused on building spacecraft and software solutions designed to secure U.S. commercial and military interests in space. It has already developed a fully-integrated platform with seamless satellite, navigation, and data-capture technologies that provide security and training for the quickly evolving space market.
Founded in 2022, True Anomaly has already designed its first spacecraft, the Jackal Autonomous Orbital Vehicle, which can be used to train operators on the ground or as intelligence-gathering tools against adversarial spacecraft. Alongside this, the startup has built a 35,000-square-foot facility in Denver to manufacture the Jackals.
With impressive capital gained in 2023 and 2025, the company validated the Jackal's technical and operational capabilities and made the necessary investments to scale production. And with its most recent capital injection, the company is ready to fund space missions and further scale its operations.
