Role
Who you are
- BS in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or relevant field experience
- Hands-on experience with creating educational material
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a work history of direct reports
- Experience with enterprise technology and network infrastructure
- Experience with cybersecurity platforms such as SIEM, SOAR, NIDS, packet/netflow capture, HIDS, EDR, VMS, etc.
- Prefer experience in a SOC or MSSP/MDR operation
What the job involves
- Create, maintain, and facilitate the execution of individual training plans on people, processes, and technologies that support the Organizational goals
- Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of the system(s) to track training plans, courses, and skills
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technology standards, industry trends, emerging technologies, and MDR for Splunk best practices
- Create enablement material to inform sales, csm/esm, and sales engineering about BlueVoyant and Concanon products and services
- Develop product and service enablement content through recorded video, PowerPoint, and/or provided LMS platform for technical and non-technical personnel
- Be an active culture steward of the Organization and facilitate integration with the Company by demonstrating positive, collaborative leadership
- Ensure direct reports are properly trained to carry out their assigned duties
- Support Line Managers with enablement and training material in conjunction with Organizational goals
- Provide monthly training reports to leadership
- Ensure all direct reports adhere to Company standards and operational procedures
- Provide effective leadership to promote and maintain positive and efficient working relationships within the Company
- Handle absentee management – sickness, PTO, LoA, etc. via Company-approved processes and inform necessary stakeholders, as needed, to deconflict business impact
- Responsible for overall performance management, including disciplinary and grievance processes with employees
- Identify training and development needs for employees that support individual goals and business objectives
- Routinely debrief with all relevant stakeholders as it pertains to employee performance throughout the delivery of customer engagements and internal projects
- Support the management of and adherence to operational procedures and reporting
- Partner team member performance review and salary review processes
- Recognize outstanding contributions – celebrating and publicizing successes
- Willingly consume training to support this role
- Assist in mentoring junior members and groom them for more responsibility
- Manage and lead individually and through senior-level individual contributors
- Collaborate with appropriate stakeholders about analyzing company data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement
- Other duties as assigned as the business needs evolve
