What the job involves

As a mobile developer, and as any software engineer working at Hivebrite, your primary goal is to design, maintain & advance our mobile app
Our mobile app is primarily built using a web view approach. Our main goal is to rebuild the app using React Native. Initially, we will start with the homepage in native, and subsequently, we will revamp modules such as groups, events, live feed, news, and the media center

Develop new strong features
Handle errors per page and globally on our platform
Participate in the creation of our mobile design system

Many existing platforms for online communities are limited in functionality and leave little room for customisation, whilst neglecting basic features such as analytics and privacy.

The platform includes a variety of flexible management tools for flexible community frameworks, in addition to administrative analytic tools to provide actionable insights on how to boost engagement.

Hivebrite's unique approach recognizes that not all online communities have the same needs, providing a wide range of customizable and optional tools for specialized purposes whilst maintaining a focus on engagement analytics. Most recently, the company acquired AI-powered matching company Orbiit to support the further enhancement of its offering.
