Who you are
- Success in this role requires proven pre-sales leadership, strong technical aptitude, prioritization management, and an ability to move with urgency in the midst of ambiguity
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of Solutions Engineering experience at high-growth software companies, preferably one with a deeply technical, multi-product, solution
- 3+ years of SE leadership experience at a high-growth company, preferably one with a deeply technical, multi-product, solution
- Naturally build trust and practice candor with colleagues to drive productivity
- Are an active listener and collaborative problem solver
- Excel at coaching, writing, discovery, and presenting
- Challenge your team and welcome being challenged to achieve shared goals
- Bring enthusiasm for earning customer trust and deepening relationships

What the job involves
- As the pioneer of the Website Experience Platform (WXP), we’re redefining how teams Build, Manage, and Optimize for the web — combining visual development, powerful content management systems, AI-driven personalization, seamless hosting, and end-to-end analytics in a single, unified platform
- We’re looking for a Senior Manager, Solutions Engineering who will lead a team of Enterprise Solution Engineers that partner closely with Enterprise Account Executives to develop value-oriented solutions that tell our differentiated story to customers
- This leader will work with their team, Enterprise Sales Leadership, as well as cross-functional stakeholders to influence product direction by being a champion for our customers and partners
- You will champion a diverse team of talented Solutions Engineers, coaching against a defined competency framework, empowering career development, and fostering an inclusive work environment
- Reporting to the Reporting to the Director, Solutions Engineering
- You'll grow and manage a high-performance team of Solution Engineers that support sales in Webflow’s growing Enterprise segment
- Define & clarify priority objectives for the team that ensure success of the Enterprise segment as well as the broader SE organization
- Coach Solutions Engineers on how to run effective discovery, develop customer specific solutions, create compelling demos and deliver quantified business cases to customers
- Provide support and guidance to direct reports by participating in and leading customer meetings
- Collaborate closely with first-line sales leaders to ensure SE contributions are being leveraged to optimize customer success & ARR opportunity
- Work closely with cross-functional leaders in Product, Engineering and Marketing to ensure the Solution Engineering team is influencing the direction of our products and services based on customer feedback
- Work with the Solutions (Pre-sales & Post-sales) leadership team to advance strategy, automate processes, and drive customer success at scale
- In addition to the responsibilities outlined above, at Webflow we will support you in identifying where your interests and development opportunities lie and we'll help you incorporate them into your role
