Role
Who you are
- 4+ years of experience in corporate finance, financial planning & analysis, marketing finance, or a related field
- Strong business judgment, problem solving, and critical thinking skills; experience helping companies identify improvements in their core business, and implementing those improvements
- High proficiency with financial systems and tools. Anaplan, Netsuite and Tableau experience is a plus
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to drive collaborative discussions with various departments
- Comfort and familiarity with a fast-paced, dynamic, and often ambiguous work environment
- Self-motivated, intellectually curious, and highly responsive
- BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Math, Economics or related field
What the job involves
- The Finance team at Lime is responsible for enterprise level planning, budgeting, forecasting, analysis and capital allocation and we are looking to add a Senior Analyst, Marketing Finance to our team!

- We work side by side with the businesses, helping them solve their most important challenges through action-oriented analysis and by value-add initiatives
- You will work closely with Lime's marketing team to provide financial insights, analysis, and strategic advice to help them make informed decisions about marketing campaigns, budget allocation, and overall marketing strategy, ensuring alignment with the company's financial goals
- This role will blend strategic and quantitative analyses with financial acumen to influence decision-making
- Ultimately, you will be part of a team that focuses on driving Company growth while maximizing the bottom line
- Establish a common language of key terms and metrics with marketing leaders to create a relationship in which there is a shared understanding of marketing KPIs and success metrics
- Support financial planning and analysis (FP&A) processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for the Operations functions
- Perform actual to budget variance analysis while highlighting risks & opportunities to plan
- Analyze marketing campaign performance by defining and monitoring ROI framework for marketing initiatives
- Partner with marketing leadership to develop strategic marketing plans, aligning marketing initiatives with overall business objectives and financial goals
- Work with cross-functional teams to support the company's growth initiatives ensuring timelines and deliverables are met
- Create a fun, inclusive, and safe workplace; empowering experimentation and creativeness for the team to meet their goals

Our take
In recent years, electric-powered mobility companies have attracted an extraordinary amount of interest and funding, in part due to rising eco-friendly sentiment, and in part because of the race to "find the next Uber". Lime is one such company, that has rapidly scaled across multiple geographies to be a key player in the fight for market leadership.
Lime, along with its competitors, has had to grapple with regulation in many of its target markets, but nonetheless has steadily increased its footprint. Since its launch, the company has facilitated millions of trips, making it one of the biggest companies of its kind. Interestingly, the CEO has stated that "cars are our true business rivals—not other scooter companies", suggesting that its biggest business challenge will be to get families to give up their second cars.
With a presence that spans an impressive number of regions - most recently Lime has begun operating in Qatar - the company has cemented itself in the micromobility market, and stands to profit from the increasing popularity of these types of services. Across 2022, a substantial increase in ridership enabled Lime to achieve a "full profitable year", with suggestions it will pursue an IPO in the near future.
