Who you are
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with 2-5 years of relevant experience
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to interpret financial results, identify issues, and manage large volumes of data
- Proficiency in Excel, including Pivot Tables, complex spreadsheets, and HFM linking
- Knowledge of accounting controls, consolidations, and business processes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with Oracle and Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) is advantageous
- Flexible, able to work late when required, multitask, self-starter, and curious in an evolving environment
- Some travel may be required
What the job involves
- This role supports various solution lines, sales channels, and functional areas across Quadient North America’s shared service centers of excellence. Responsibilities include budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, reporting, and handling ad hoc requests
- Assist the Manager of FP&A and leadership team in developing and preparing financial plans, communicating critical deadlines and targets, reviewing actual results against plans, and supporting leaders in achieving goals
- Analyze variances of P&L line items compared to budget, prior year, and forecast, providing commentary on notable risks and opportunities
- Identify and report significant business trends at business unit and product levels for key P&L drivers
- Utilize HFM templates for retrieving and uploading financial and statistical information
- Ensure accurate reporting of actuals and planned financials
- Develop and maintain cash reporting and forecasting across legal entities
- Adhere to month-end reporting deadlines rigorously
- Enhance financial models and reporting packages
