Role
Who you are
- We are looking for a proactive, organised, and communicative individual with strong problem-solving skills
- You will collaborate closely with cross-functional team members to transform the operational aspects of our clinical research, leveraging technology and data best practices

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Business, or a related field
- Experience: 2+ years in an operational or strategic analytical role (E.g., Consulting)
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel) and software for data visualisation and database management (e.g., Looker, Tableau)
- Familiarity with project management software such as Asana, Monday.com, or Notion
- Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical skills with the ability to create cohesive operational workflows and define performance metrics
- Team Player: Effective in a cross-functional team environment, demonstrating strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Adaptability: Comfortable navigating ambiguity and structuring complex problems
- High Agency: A bias for action with eagerness to take on diverse responsibilities, excited by a role that will evolve over time
Desirable
- Experience in program or project management within a fast-growing start-up, scale-up, or top-tier consulting firm
- Proven ability to work across multiple teams and stakeholders
- Background in digital health, commercial environments, or startups, with a track record of managing complex projects and competing priorities
- Familiarity with programming languages for managing relational databases, such as SQL
- Note: Clinical experience is not necessary - this is an operations role!

- We are seeking an exceptional Operations Associate to join our Clinical Innovation and Research team at VOY
- This role is pivotal in driving daily operations and leading operational effectiveness projects
- Our mission is to improve human health through innovative solutions, and this position is at the heart of delivering on that mission
- Project Management: Develop plans to execute clinical research projects and ensure timely delivery against milestones
- Monitor Progress and Risks: Track project performance against key milestones, flag potential delays or bottlenecks, and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues efficiently
- Data Analysis: Utilise data analysis tools to uncover insights and develop data-driven strategies to improve overall project performance and outcomes
- Process Improvement: Contribute proactively to the continuous improvement of operational processes within the clinical research team, identifying opportunities for efficiency gains
- Facilitate Team Communication: Ensure project clarity and transparency across stakeholder groups, aligning with the wider team on scope, goals, and execution needs

MANUAL is a digital healthcare clinic supporting patients with life-changing conditions such as hormonal imbalance, obesity, menopause and hair loss across the UK and Brazil. It does this with a blend of doctor-specialist services, prescription medication backed by science, and digital products informed by behavioural change.
Manual works to remove the stigma around health problems such as obesity, hormone imbalances and menopause through teleconsultations, testing, regular check-ins and a range of tools, supplements and medications to treat common issues like poor sleep, hair loss, erectile dysfunction and skin conditions. Originally focused solely on men's health, the service led a shift in attitudes among its customers, with about half the men using the service to treat more than one condition, indicating that they're not just seeking help for the worst health issue that they're experiencing. Since, then it has opened its services to all genders with a hope to sift attitudes on a wider variety of health issues.
Manual has raised an impressive amount of capital, most recently in 2024. This funding is being used to expand its reach and enhance its services, particularly focussing on treatments for hormonal imbalance, obesity, and hair loss.
