Role
Who you are
- 8+ years experience in high-growth environments in account management, business development, or sales, preferably in a fast-moving technology or human resources industry
- A demonstrated track record of driving revenue retention and growth
- A self-starter mentality and deep comfort operating in ambiguity and frequent change, while still delivering results
- Excel at relationship management and strategic thinker who comes armed to internal and external conversations with the right data and analysis to make a convincing argument
- Strong executive presence, with demonstrated ability to influence and earn trust with senior leaders and other stakeholders, ask the right questions, and use sound business judgment internally and externally at large companies, including at the C-suite level
What the job involves
- As an Strategic Account Manager, your mission will be to retain and drive revenue by ensuring your customers are maximizing the value from Pave’s product offering
- You will do this by setting the vision for your customers and partnering closely with Technical Account Managers on executing on this vision
- This will be a highly visible and highly cross functional role - the AM function will partner closely with our Sales, Technical Account Management, Product and Operations teams - to ensure we are driving revenue for Pave

- The majority of our roles have 3-5 interview rounds

Our take
Compensation survey and merit cycle processes are integral to so many businesses, and yet remain time-consuming manual activities. Staff often lack financial training resulting in spreadsheet induced errors. Pave saw a need to update and streamline the process.
The core advantage of Pave is its ease of integration with HRIS, ATS and cap table software, creating real-time compensation data views without the need for spreadsheets. Using the software creates a fair and transparent system that management can rely on and employees can respect. The company has seen strong momentum, with backing from big names like Y Combinator and az16.
Some organisations have been reluctant to adopt solutions like Pave’s on account of the radical transparency it provides. However, with companies like Credit Karma, Miro and Discord all signing on, Pave has proven its ability to draw lucrative enterprise-level clients. This bodes well for the company’s ongoing success.
