Who you are

5+ years of proven experience as a "Mobile Product Designer" with a strong portfolio showcasing your design skills
3+ years experience with Mobile Design in a B2B SaaS or Software company i.e. Android & IOS is required
Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (e.g., Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite)
Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, interaction design, and responsive design (Material Design, Human Interface Guidelines)
Experience in designing and maintaining component-based design systems
Experience in conducting user research and usability testing
Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate design ideas and prototypes
MSc/BSc degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field is preferred
Experience working in Agile development processes

What the job involves

The Senior Product Designer leads the design and user experience strategy for our mobile products
This role has expertise in user research, interaction design, and visual design that is key in crafting solutions that meet our users’ needs and drive engagement
Working closely with our development and product teams, the Sr. Product Designer turns insights into beautiful, functional designs that enhance our user experience and contribute to our product’s success
Lead mobile design initiatives by owning the end-to-end design process for mobile applications, from concept to delivery
Design user-centric mobile interfaces and experiences (Android and iOS)
Collaborate with product managers and engineers to translate product goals into innovative design solutions
Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and inform design decisions
Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for new features and improvements and incorporate them into a scalable design system

Trucks of the future will require additional solutions for software management, driver displays, and network connectivity.

Platform Science develops trucking connectivity solutions that unify many modern improvements into a single platform. While the company develops its own tools, its unique selling point is its customisable dashboard, which unifies existing software stacks to bring everything together as an all-in-one logistics freight control centre.

Platform Science's product is highly regarded for improving the driving experience and is in use by major fleets including Schneider, Western Express and Velocity. It has raised significant growth capital which will accelerate its product development, and in 2025 acquired Trimble's global transportation telematics business units to expand its connected vehicle application platform.
