Who you are
- Experience in data analysis, visualization, and statistical modeling
- Proficiency in Python and related data analysis tools
- Strong communication skills and ability to simplify complex concepts
- Initial experience in independent automotive aftermarket and adaptability to new industries and markets
- Fluent in business English (at least B2 level). Additional languages are a bonus
What the job involves
- Become our expert (m/f/d) in data analysis and visualization to create value for our clients.
- Join a dedicated team of professionals to analyze complex systems, uncover insights, and deliver tailored data-driven analytics solutions in the independent automotive aftermarket
- Clean, interpret and analyze data using SQL and Python
- Visualize insights and communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders
- Provide ongoing reports within BI systems like PowerBI
- Understand complex systems and apply statistical methods to data
- Seamless collaboration with an agile team of data engineers & consultants
- Commitment to advancing the development of data pathways
Our take
If you've ever tried to source a part for a car repair, you'll know it can be a real nightmare. Vehicles are precision instruments but with a lack of standardisation, identifying the exact part you need can extremely difficult. TecAlliance was founded in 1994 to solve this problem, bringing together parts manufacturers to create a digital catalogue of everything automotive, and has since grown into a leading data analysis and order management platform for the aftermarket automotive industry.
The TecAlliance data hub standardises data for all parts and makes this information readily available for sellers, centralises official repair and maintenance workflows for easy access, and provides automation tools for invoicing and data quality checks. Compared to in-house solutions this represents huge savings in time and labour, and allows for greatly improved customer service. TecAlliance counts numerous major firms among its clients including AutoDoc, Bosch and Shaeffler to name a few.
TecAlliance continues to develop its product with strategic acquisitions, for instance, JNPSoft, a major product information software provider in North America. It is expanding its network of partners and subsidiaries and investing in data research to improve the effectiveness of its product range.
