Who you are
- If you are a proactive and strategic thinker, we’d love to have you on board!
- Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier university, Master’s is a plus
- Experience in a high-performing entrepreneurial environment, leading technology company, or management consulting
- Excellent English communication (verbal and written) and the interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams. German and/or French are a plus
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills, with sharp prioritization skills
- Analytical problem-solving approach with ability to identify root causes and develop solutions
- Passionate about Cambrium’s mission, sustainability and the field of synthetic biology
What the job involves
- As a Sales Associate on our Commercial team, you'll drive growth for our personal care product line by identifying and engaging ideal customers through strategic sales channels
- You'll build the top of our sales funnel while contributing to our go-to-market strategy, using data-driven insights to enhance performance
- Identify and engage potential customers in the personal care industry to expand our client base
- Lead product pitches and customer interactions to secure deals with global personal care customers
- Effectively articulate our ingredients’ unique value proposition to align with customer needs and market demands
- Collaborate with the Commercial team to develop and refine our sales strategy, identifying new market opportunities and optimizing our approach
- Create and implement innovative campaigns using optimal channels to connect with target customers
Our take
Animal-derived collagen has long been a staple in personal care, fashion, and other applications, but it comes with environmental and ethical concerns. Cambrium is stepping in with a sustainable alternative, leveraging cutting-edge technologies to design, scale, and manufacture novel molecular building blocks for man-made collagen.
Having recently securing funding, Cambrium aims to transition the early successes of its skin-identical collagen ingredient NovaColl into a lasting impact, by scaling its manufacturing and commercial activities for animal-free collagen products.
Its technology not only presents a viable solution to reduce reliance on animal-derived collagen, but accelerates the development of other innovative biomolecules, suggesting a future where Cambrian could create high-performance, sustainable materials for various other sectors.
