Who you are

Bachelor's degree in a technical, business, or a related field
Minimum of 8 years of experience in managing sales with success growing revenue
Previous experience in the PV industry will be a significant advantage. A knowledge of Utility scale and community solar is an added plus
Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand the technical workings of the SolarEdge product offering
An ability to communicate product benefits to potential customers in easy-to-grasp terms
Proven track record of identifying, negotiating and closing large revenue deals
Ability to identify, prospect and convert new accounts
Demonstrated success in operating effectively in a fast-paced, complex, rapid growth environment
Possesses a distinct customer service focus with demonstratable skills in handling complex customer issues
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong understanding of the North American utility scale and community solar energy market
Strategic thinker who is a self-starter and can drive results in a dynamic and rapidly evolving market

What the job involves

Identify, develop and close sales opportunities to achieve revenue targets
Develop and maintain relationships with Utility Scale and Community Solar project developers, EPC’s, system integrators, asset owners and design engineering firms
Actively pursue sales leads and build a sales pipeline
Assist with forecast of revenue on a regular basis and review sales results to ensure that established targets are being met; take corrective action where required
Nurture the relationship with leading PV project developers at multiple levels to ensure that SolarEdge remains the supplier of choice for their installations
Cultivate and maintain relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders to drive market penetration
Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments to make informed business decisions
Work closely with cross-functional teams across the division and across geographies, including product management, engineering, Solution Engineering and operations, to ensure seamless collaboration and alignment of goals and execution plans
Provide input regarding marketing and product positioning strategies specific to the US market

Our take

Solar energy is quickly becoming big business, as nations worldwide commit to greener power and back those promises with serious investment. With billions on the table, compeititon is fierce (and innvation is the name of the game. Among the frontrunners cashing in on this clean-energy boom is SolarEdge.

With strings of solar energy harvesting panels, central inverters typically limit string output to the level of the lowest performing panel, which isn’t optimal: one shaded panel can pull down the performance of the entire string. SolarEdge’s innovation is to install power optimizers on each panel, thereby both tracking the maximum power point at the modular level, and allowing for more granular performance monitoring.

From there, SolarEdge has developed out into a wealth of clean energy solutions worldwide - most recently unveiling its ONE Controller at Intersolar Europe 2025. Designed to help German homeowners meet new energy rules, it connects solar systems with devices like EV chargers and heat pumps for smarter, more efificnet energy use. It's a clever step that keeps SolarEdge ahead of the curve and ready for the future.
